Old German chemistry company that made the most famous and still made photographic developer rodinal, as well as color film before world War 2, and being split into 2 companies beyond ww2, followed by a merger with the Belgian gevaert, forming agfa-gevaert, as well as agfa wolfen forming the east German branch of the company.
