With the bud light dust up I went looking for who owned Anheuser-Busch. Discovered they were bought by Belgian-Brazilian brewing company InBev in 2008. I was a little disappointed Anheuser-Busch was owned by a non us based company. Then, I looked at who owns InBev and discovered Altria is the largest shareholder at 65.6%. So who the crap is Altria? Altria (previously known as Philip Morris Companies, Inc.) is an American corporation and one of the world’s largest producers and marketers of tobacco, cigarettes and related products. So, Altria is one of the largest owners of tobacco, cigarettes, AND alcohol in the world. Seems like a good episode to work on 🙂
