I don’t actually know how many people hate them, or if there are multiple reasons. But my personal experience is they care more about payments than healthcare. The hounded me for payments that were not even due when statements were not even sent. Within a few days of being home from the hospital. They leave voice mails that threaten to turn me over to collections. Over a bill less than $20 that wasn’t even past due yet. I have heard others have similar issues with them.
