My extended family owns several Baskin Robbins franchises and something they told us kids growing up was that Dairy Queen and Baskin Robbins used to be big rivals. If one developed a product/promotion the other soon copied it etc. I thought that BR ‘won’ over DQ bc they still sell ice cream primarily and they haven’t branched out to hot food like DQ has. In fact, until I heard that I hadn’t questioned why a burger place was named “Dairy Queen”. It might make for an interesting video to see how both companies are still in existence and how they have changed over the years. Love the channel, keep up the great work!
