Brightline is a for profit private rail company which has a Miami to Orlando line which is being expanded to Tampa as well as it is constructing a Brightline West line which will connect Las Vegas to the future California high speed rail network. Passanger rail in America, before Brightline, was basically dominated by Amtrak (majority owned by the US), but Brightline is making a profitable business structure utilizing profits from real estate and rail services to create a private for profit passanger rail industry.
