Browns was at one time the dominant chicken franchise in Chicago. Over 60 locations. Far more than KFC 30-40 years ago. I hear they were looking into expanding into St Louis and Minneapolis before the infamous browns chicken murders killed their existing location sales and tarnished their brand nationally. Who in St Louis or Minneapolis would want to eat at a new chicken restaurant synonymous with a famous multiple homicide
