This company may not be your first glance, and I know you tend to focus on American companies most of the time, but this company has changed hands and was at one point part of the Adidas portfolio of brands after acquiring Reebok, which had acquired CCM a year prior. CCM started of making bikes, and then merged with several bike manufacturers and even got to cable into the making of automobiles, eventually leading up to what most people are familiar with today (2021) CCM hockey. Around 1983 the original Canadian Cycle and Motor Co had filed for bankruptcy after several changes to management structure through acquisitions, etc. The company began making hockey equipment in the early 20th century when the bicycle market had reached saturation. I find the history of this company very intriguing, and most high profile NHL players still use their hockey equipment to this day. I feel with such a rich history, and how many industries they tried to have a hand in, I feel you could give your audience quite the entertaining enlightenment about a pinnacle company that goes back over a hundred years. You could do a “rise and fall” series, a “history of” series, or possible a bigger than you know series as they had at one point been involved in several industries. Today the company is run by Sports Maska inc, based out of Montreal. I’ve just begun my research on them, but I’d love to hear what you have to say! (Get it? Thats what you say at the end of every video, Mike! Haha) cheers, thank-you for your consideration! -Cody
