Over the last few years, I’ve seen a sharp increase in car washes.

Now, I don’t have a conspiracy theory for you to uncover here. But….why? It seems there’s way more car washes than any community would reasonably need in most urban areas. What is the reason behind the explosion of car wash franchises?
