There has been an ongoing controversy since 2022 about a certain Visa gift cards (Vanilla Gift) that were being tampered with prior to being shipped to retail and pharmacy stores. (Numbers being marked off, security codes being scratched, etc.) Worse yet, there are numerous reports of unauthorized transactions done by third party individuals and Vanilla Gift has not done anything about this. This idea would help raise awareness of the ongoing scam and to further prevent the consumers’ money from being stolen.
