They were a controlled several different subsidiary “Higher Education” schools. One being the Art Institutes of (City, State). They were a for-profit “higher education” school system that used very aggressive predatory practices and fraudulent job placement statistics to get students. They have been sued to many times to count, sold of all assets after filing for bankruptcy, and I believe have moved the company outside of the united states. Which left all previously graduated students with a degree that means nothing and a school that does not exist.
