I love El Pollo Loco. They grill their chicken, you can get rice, corn, and tortillas. They really can’t be compared to other chicken franchises. As great as they are, they seem to be focused in the SW part of the United States, and a few attempts at establishing a restaurant in the Pacific NW, has resulted in failure (to be fair, it could be just poor local locations). It’s a shame, because the food is really good. When we used to visit relatives in California, we would buy a bunch of their chicken and tortillas to eat on the long drive home.
