Fairchild Semiconductor is the Great Grandfather to Silicon Valley itself created by 8 brilliant Engineers and Scientists all under 35 so called “Traitors Eight” who left their job working under William Shockley, one of the inventors of Transistor and a Nobel Prize Winner with the only goal of making commercially viable transistors pioneering manufacturing and design of transistors and microprocessors. The company itself was one of the first technological company which then spawned many other giants like Intel, AMD. Robert Noyce (one of the Traitors Eight who later co-founded Intel) was known as The Mayor of Silicon Valley, just to give you an idea how important these guys were.

The work done inside Fairchild Semiconductors and the talent is pulled from all over the globe and companies it spawned created the modern Silicon Valley and the age of Computers. I think they deserve a video for everything they did.
