Hobart Brothers Company was one of five companies started by Clarence C. Hobart. He founded it in 1914; it was incorporated in 1917. Four of the five companies he founded were in Troy.

Manufactures premium welding filler metals, including stick electrodes and solid and tubular (flux cored and metal cored) wires. All filler metals are sold through welding distributors and meet or exceed the specifications of the American Welding Society (AWS) and other regulatory classifications.

Tubular Division
Manufactures arc welding filler metals such stick electrodes, flux cored wires, metal cored wires and solid wires.

Hobart Food Equipment Group
Provide sales and marketing support to the commercial foodservice and food retail market for the Hobart and Traulsen brands

Hobart Ground Power
For over 60 years has remained a leading supplier of ground power equipment to the Commercial and Military (COTS) Aircraft Markets. Hobart Ground Power is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer and offers a complete line of 400 Hz AC and 28.5 VDC converters, available in both diesel engine driven and solid state models.

Is the world’s leading manufacture of commercial food equipment including warewashing, food preparation, cooking, and weigh/wrap equipment. Manufactures Hobart welding equipment for the light and non-industrial market segments with 250 amp and less welding equipment. The products are sold through the retail and industrial channels. Hobart provides a complete line of filler metal, auto-darkening welding helmets, oxy-fuel equipment and a broad offering of associated welding accessory products.
