How Veterans United really got started

A young mortgage guy took the idea for a unique company from a disabled veteran and created Veterans United. This young CEO is not a veteran and had no ties to the military community. Yet his company is now helping 5,000 families every MONTH to buy and refinance thier homes. Mean while, the veteran that had the original idea… it hard times, lives in an RV, bounced between campgrounds and got nothing. Even after reaching out asking for help, nothing. The company is worth about $500 million. The veteran asked for $2 for each home loan that was completed. Just $2. Nothing…. talk about getting screwed. Happy Veterans Day.
