This was my dad’s favorite restaurant chain growing up, but by the time I was a kid in the 90s, it was on its death bed. I never really got why he loved it so much. In doing a little research, I have found out that they were ubiquitous in the 1950s-1970s, but they have only one remaining location today. How did a company so big (there’s even a location in outer space in Kubrick’s “2001”) fall so hard?
