Frankly I find the whole story behind this airline to be rather…interesting. They’ve run into financial troubles and have been doomed for years. I found a quite interesting Forbes article where they chatted with the owner; it’s pretty much completely ironic (literally all the claims he makes didn’t pan out, and he boasts about the fact that there’s no concept of bankruptcy in India, which came back to bite them this year). I’ve also flown on the airline in January 2018 and if needed, I can provide commentary on my experience.
