I am in the construction business. In the past 20 years I have seen very good Kitchen Cabinet manufacturers come and go. In Germany I have the prejudice to think they last longer. But here almost none of the original stores from 20 years ago exist.

Is it because the barriers of entry are too low? Is it because of a yes in the last question they do not know how to calculate costs.? Is it because the real estate developers create their own factories to lower the price?

In Europe (Italy and Germany) I see the survivors spit out with fully automatic production lines immense amount of custom kitchens.

I see you are more familiar with retail. Perhaps this is a challenge for you.
