In November Noah’s Ark in Locust Grove, Ga, USA came under new management. Since then, the only vet has been suspended for simply doing her job, money has been taken from the animals and used for the new owners private expenses, and most recently 700 birds on the property have died due to lack of care and lack of employees. These birds mostly died from bird flu, while the rest had to be euthanized. There was also a monkey that had a seizure a few weeks ago, and he was only given help at the last minute. He’s still fighting to recover. There is a petition for the new president to be held accountable and for a new president to replace him, but it needs more attention. This is a place that families and schools have come to for decades. It has always been a happy place until now. The emtire community would deeply appreciate a look into the shady business practices going in there at the moment.
