Ollie’s, from what i’ve seen, has been rapidly expanding, taking advantage of the Big Lots bankruptcy. They’ve taken over many of the buildings left behind by Big Lots as well. Dirt Cheap has almost the exact same store style, they both buy unsold merchandise and resell it. Dirt Cheap recently filed for bankruptcy and they’re closing all of their stores. I think it would be interesting so see how two companies of the exact same category are having completely different outcomes right now.
