They were the largest bicycle shop chain in the U.S., with no franchises. They started out like Sears where they were a catalog, and grew into shops. They were the largest bicycle retailer. They expanded to over 100 stores across the U.S, and then when they were in hot water, they made one of the largest mergers by being bought by ASI which became ASE. Fast forward 2 years later, they went under in 2019.
