This is a bit of a weird one. They where one of the first companies to publicly supply NiZn batteries to the consumer market. I personally owned quite a bit of their batteries as they wound up in my local buyout store for quite cheap. It seems like a bit that contributed to their downfall is a poor compliance to the 1.5v standard for AA and AAA batteries. While in fairness they where labeled as 1.6v, it seems to have cause issues with electronics getting damaged by the high voltage output of the cells. From personal experience I actually did have this happen to a couple of devices. Possibly one reason this could be is that when the cells fail on their basic cheaper charger, the voltage goes up to nearly 2v. While this can be sustained, it’s likely enough to have caused significant damage. They also explored the vehicle power segment but seem to have lost largely to lithium
