Started off as a radio store that specifically targeted small town markets where larger stores like best buy and circuit city didn’t have stores. All stock was owned (instead of leased, like most big stores) They also had very small store crews. My $1mill store only had 4 people who did everything. This cut down on overhead. Guaranteed low price, free 2 year warranty (later sold for $10). Wide range of TVs and large home appliances along with stereos, etc
