On May 2nd, it was announced that Rue21 filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the third time. The CEO, Josh Burris decided to have meeting at a steakhouse with higher ups just to send them a two minute video saying that he’s firing them all, & he’s willing to sell it to the highest bidder. What’s worse is that us employees weren’t informed about it until that day. We have no DM, no HQ, and no HR department. Overall, as someone who’s worked there for 14 months, where I was just hired as a part-time assistant manager a week ago, this is messy and need to be told.
