Scott’s would be a great company for the ‘bigger than you know’ series, they own a lot of other very recognizeable companies and are share holders in many others.
They own a (from what I have heard) about a quarter of Bonnie Plants, which may be one of the biggest companies people don’t recognize.
If you feel like doing some investigating, it seems that Scott’s may have pushed out the Bonnie CEO to bring their own guy in, maybe.
