I used to work for sikorsky helicopter and I learned a lot about its history when I worked there. Aviation history may be a popular subject in the military/ aviation enthusiasts. But the general public has no real idea how innovations in aviation have changed our lives for the better because we take it for granted today. Lockheed martin bought sikorsky a few years ago. And the merger now puts there company of one of the biggest or the biggest military aircraft supplier. Sikorsky has some amazing civilian aircraft like the S-92. And I used to work on the S-76.
The new presidential helicopter will be based off of the S92.
