Almost Each country before the 2000s had a monopoly in the countries that controlled the mobile market, like Deutsche Telekom in Germany, KPN in Netherlands, TIM in Italy, Orange in France, Swisscom in Switzerland and so on… But how were they affected and what did they do to survive against incomers from private companies like Three, Vodafone or Illiad? And what happened to monopolies in smaller countries like Hungary, Croatia and South Korea?
