The camaro started out hot, 1980’s came and all the emissions and car companies had issues on the restrictions. Then the 90’s came along and Chevy decided to drop the camaro . When ford mustang did a new retro flashback their profits went way up. That forced GM to relaunch the camaro using what worked for ford to create their own flashback and worked well.
