After eBay was around for some time there was a franchise (I think) that grew around the concept of doing everything for you. They would stage items, photograph, post on eBay, and ship your items charging a low commission for doing so. They grew super fast. They even had local TV coverage for the first 2 weeks they opened. They hired me as an electronics repair tech, as they were planning on buying freight car loads of electronics to repair and sell at their stores. But as soon as everyone emptied out their attics, closets, and basements of stuff they did not know how to get rid of their business dried up, the stores stopped making money and they all soon disappeared.
