THQ Nordic… many gamers from 2006-2011 will remember the very popular Saints Row series that used to compete directly with the Grand Theft Auto series. THQ was founded in 1989 and for many decades they focused on amazing games that became big and everyone loved them.

However, with manegement issues and a shift of focusing on their core buisness (which was to make games)–they decided to spend millions of dollars developing consoles (which no one bought and was a huge flop). Many mismanegement of the company sped up the process towards their demise.

THQ used to be a titan in the gaming industry. For those that know what Ubisoft is, THQ used to be as big as that in the olden days. They declared bankrupty in 2012 and the company was up for auction. Now, while they exist, their glorydays are over. No one talks about them anymore they went irrelevant.
