I actually work for Thryv and we are in the process of switching industries after going through a rise and fall (and now on the rise again). We started over 140 years ago publishing the phone books as part of the different phone companies and then gradually have merged with almost all phone book companies. We were part of the dot com boom with sites like yp.com, superpages.com and dexknows.com which we still run and now we’re also providing small businesses software solutions while STILL PUBLISHING THE BOOKS! We at one point almost closed the doors entirely but were saved at the last minute through bankruptcy filings and thats when we started changing industries. We also are a 100% remote/virtual company and were voted one of the top 100 companies to work for.
