During the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for bicycles has boomed. Bicycle stocks at local bicycle stores are being constantly out of stock and bicycle manufacturers have been trying to keep up with this new demand. Trek is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the US and makes bicycles across multiple price points for fantastic value for what you buy for. I think it’d be interesting to go into what’s made bicycles more interesting to people during the pandemic and how companies like Trek have been handling this new, seemingly out-of-nowhere demand for bikes. Trek is one of many bicycle companies, like Specialized, Canyon, Giant, and Orbea, that make fantastic bicycles.
