In then 80’s I worked at a Wags restaurant in Roosevelt Field Mall in LI New York. We were led to believe Wags was a large chain with long history. But now 35 years later I have never met anyone who has heard of it. It was short order sit down restaurant with a humongous menu which I had to memorize. I think the chain went belly up after acquiring massive corporate debt after a buyout. It was particularly famous for it breakfast eggs and omelets that were each cooked individually in frying pans all day long.
